I’m still a tad startled that “First Time I Saw U” was SUN/MGNETK’s debut release and it not only slaps, but it also has the potential to play in one’s head for hours on end.
This FEELS like something I would hear from Mr. Fingers but yet elegantly emblazoned with the signature touch of SUN/MGNETK’s garden-fresh aesthetic. The woozy synths paired with the airy vocal sample create a dreamy listening experience, and the upbeat nature of the drums provide such a dance-friendly vibe too.
