I loved the incorporation of various regional elements on Mac Irv’s “Excuse My French” as it certainly broadens its appeal.
The pitched down vocals are reminiscent of the south side while his flows allude to a west side influence. I found the beat quite soulful too and this compliments his honest and sincere vocal delivery too. Definitely the kind of track where you’d want to pay close attention to the lyricism by virtue of their brilliance.
