With its steady vibe and melancholic tones, BAILE captivates us with a rather uptempo BPM that keeps us moving or simply locked in with the groove. The intergalactic energy of the swaying gated synth, layered over a sustained bass and a driving beat reflects an anxious, struggling-to-keep-your-head-above-water feeling. Written around the start of the lockdowns, this makes a lot of sense. Hopefully that feeling wouldn’t be so present in our lives in the future…
