Most people associate coffee with vigorous task-handling. Mum Child‘s new track, however, is inspired by the opposite way of enjoying this special drink. The US producer dropped this super chilled lofi tune on which he explains:
Last fall, my uncle was in town, and I asked him his favorite thing about retirement. He said, ‘Drinking coffee in the morning.’ That really hit me. So simple. He travels & does lots of interesting, exciting things. Yet that was his reply. I love coffee too. A lot. But even hearing that from him made me appreciate the little things in life – we don’t always have to chase the grandiose.
“Coffee Rest” features soft guitar licks and crispy percussion, evoking the tranquility of a fresh sunny morning, spent on the veranda with a cup of your favourite brew!
