Throughout “Caskets” we’re introduced to the kind of pristine lyricism and witty penmanship that I generally struggle to find these days in Rap music.

The instrumental possesses a Jazzy kind of elegance to it and this is accentuated by the horns in the distance and the arrangement of the keys. As soon as the first verse arrives, we are introduced to a raw and rugged vocal delivery that persists throughout the verses to come. This really makes the songwriting all the more convincing, to the point where each rapper is bound to have you hanging onto his every word.
