Today, Brandon Flowers – one of the most influential songwriters of the modern era – has shared his new single “Paradise,” the latest offering from his upcoming solo record THRASHER, out August 21, 2026, via Island Records. As fans eagerly anticipate this new chapter, “Paradise” serves as a compelling preview of the artist’s evolving sound.
“Paradise” is an upbeat country track that draws inspiration from Flowers’ extended family, specifically their experiences working and aging within the casino ecosystem of Las Vegas. The release is accompanied by a special live performance video, “Paradise (Live From Historic RCA Studio A),” filmed at the iconic Nashville studio where the album was recorded.
Alongside the release, Blood Records is offering an exclusive THRASHER translucent orange rust LP with black and white splatter. Limited to 5,000 hand-numbered copies, the vinyl is set to arrive on August 21st.
THRASHER marks Flowers’ first solo album in over a decade. Recorded in Nashville with longtime producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, the project features a host of Music City’s most renowned players. Notable contributors include longtime Gillian Welch collaborator David Rawlings on guitar, pedal steel virtuoso Bruce Bouton, and the legendary 85-year-old harmonica player Charlie McCoy, whose signature sound graced Bob Dylan’s iconic Nashville recordings. Rooted in the formative childhood years Flowers spent in Nephi, Utah, the album’s timeless sonic approach provides the perfect backdrop for his most vulnerable songwriting to date.
In support of the new record, Flowers has announced a comprehensive tour spanning September and October. The trek will visit major cities across North America, the UK, and Ireland. General on-sale tickets are available now.
