This is actually some of my favorite songwriting from Monolink as it carries quite a powerful (Stoic) message behind it, and it’s accompanied by the brilliance of NTO’s bright production.
The first thing that really stood out on “Beyond Control” was the growl of the beefy bassline. Towards the end, a gorgeous lead follows this bass to create a captivating moment that’s tough to forget thanks to the grippy melody and percussive textures. I honestly love that this is something that slips into a set to ignite the dance floor, and the kind of track you could calmingly groove to at home.
