Three-time Grammy® Award winner Ariana Grande has officially returned with her highly anticipated new single, “hate that i made you love me.” The track serves as the lead offering from her forthcoming eighth studio album, petal, which is slated for a July 31st release via Republic Records.
The new single showcases Grande’s signature vocal prowess and is co-written and produced by the artist alongside ILYA and Max Martin. Fans can look forward to the official music video, which was directed by Christian Breslauer with cinematography by Academy Award winner Janusz Kaminski. The visual is set to make its global premiere on Monday, June 1 at 8a PT.
In addition to the new music, Grande is preparing for her long-awaited return to the stage with the Eternal Sunshine Tour. The tour is scheduled to kick off on June 6th at the Oakland Arena in California. The massive run will include stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Montreal, and London’s O2 Arena.
