Danish artist Xuri, fka Yuri, is one of the most important new acts in the Copenhagen experimental scene. She has released a new album called Bedlam of Salt which is out now via Copenhagen cassette label Janushoved.
According to the press release, it marks the fourth full-length album by Xuri (formerly known as Yuri), a product of the desire to connect and collaborate in a year of absence. From pulsing club ready tracks to contemplative arrangements, Xuri displays her signature sound of playful industrial in a new shared exploration, featuring the dramatic vocals of Lueurs Nocturnes, along with cellist Oliver Vaupel and drummer Hasse Bruun.
