We introduced different times Italian pianist, singer-songwriter and composer Stefania Avolio. She has released the debut album called Natural Element in 2020. Now she has announced the sophomore full-length Roots of Rebirth which will be out on July 28th and features Lorenzo Masotto (electronics). It marks a new and different direction for her music.
Today we have the pleasure to share the official video for the track “New Light“. It was directed by Matteo Bogoni. She explains: ” ‘New Light’ has been the first song that I wrote for the album. It was 2020. We shot the video in an old big abandoned house which represents my past. I struggle in every way to leave my past behind. The past which I no longer wanted to live. The dancer embodies my soul in the past and she keeps following me. I fight with her until I get rid of it and at the end I find the new light.”
