Stefania Avolio is an Italian pianist, singer-songwriter and composer from Verona. Natural Element is her solo debut album which was released in October. She explains: “I started writing “Natural Element” by drawing inspiration from the sea. The use of the voice as a musical instrument, without the help of words, allows me to express emotions that leave the listener free to interpret. There are only two pieces where I chose to use words.”
Today we have the pleasure to premiere the official video of the title-track. It was edited and directed by Lorenzo Masotto. About the video, she adds: “I wrote “Natural Element” inspired by the sea. The video was shot last summer by my husband while we were on holiday and on a surreal day: we were in the middle of summer but the wind and light made it a winter day and perfect for the video that was supposed to represent my song.”
