Quarer are the German electronic duo comprised of percussionist, producer Christian Grochau and pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Ludwig Bauer.  We introduced them with the 2018’s EP Aracus and 2022’s Headed.

Rund/Oval is the new single and today we have the pleasure to share the official video for the track “Rund” which features German cellist Anne Müller. It was created by Alexander Trattler. The track is taken from the debut album, Odd Fazes, released tomorrow by Nonostar Records. Pre-order is available here.

According to the press release, In Rund, Anne’s cello is deftly woven into a multilayered techno track and in the epic, neo-classical soundscapes of Oval the cello takes centre stage. Fans of genre straddling acts such as Kiasmos and Christian Löffler will feel at home with this merging of music styles, a conversation between two distinct yet perfectly complementary musical and compositional voices.
