A few months after the collaboration with James Plotkin in 2020, Norwegian composer and musician Benjamin Finger has released a new album called Auditory Colors which is out now via KrysaliSound. It features Inga-Lill Farstad (vocals), Lynn Fister (vocals), and Elling Finnanger Snøfugl (Cello on “Kindly Abused”) and was mastered by Francis M. Gri.
Today we have the pleasure to share a new video for the track “See See See“. It was directed by himself and shot on Super 8mm in Oakland, US. Watch it below and read the full story.
Synesthesia is a sensorial-perceptive phenomenon in which certain stimuli evoke sensations of a different nature from that normally experienced: it is possible, for example, to “see” a sound or “feel” a colour. For example, a synaesthetic person can hear sounds while simultaneously seeing coloured lights or numbers projected into the surrounding space. As a result, music becomes an experience that is not only auditory but also visual, while certain words can be endowed with a flavor and letters and numbers are always associated with certain colours. With these concepts Benjamin Finger composed the album Auditory Colors thus creating a kaledoscopicalbum where sounds and colours give the listener a unique and personal sensory experience. An album to listen to in total connection with your soul.
