Pascal Schumacher is a Luxembourger composer and percussionist, now focused on vibraphone. Two years after SOL, he has announced the release of a new album called LUNA which will be out on March 25th. We already shared “Rhythmicon“; title-track is the new excerpt which features Echo Collective. He explains:
According to the press release, Over a string bed of crescendos and decrescendos (provided by the excellent ECHO COLLECTIVE), Schumacher’s instrument simply dots the piece, appearing to fill in blank spaces with twinkling light. The piece is a quiet, dimmed-lights meditative journey with hints of nostalgia. The music is more reflective and in that, it feels more mature.
