German musician and producer Moritz von Oswald has announced a new album with the moniker Moritz von Oswald Trio. Dissent is the first album in 5 years and this time features brand new formation with Detroit’s Laurel Halo and jazz drummer Heinrich Köbberling. It will be out on August 6th via BMG’s new classical/jazz/electronic imprint Modern Recordings.

According to the press release, the album showcases edits of long explorative jams, from broad ambiences, uptempo dance, jazz sensibilities, noise, groove and dance beckons recalling some of techno’s jazzier inclinations. Check the first excerpt called “Chapter 4“. The video was created by Rainer Kohlberger.
