Jessica Moss is best known as violinist, backing vocalist and co-composer with the acclaimed cult band Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and for her involvement in multiple records by Carla Bozulich’s Evangelista and two albums by Vic Chesnutt.
Three years after Entanglement, she’s announced the release of a new album. Phosphene will be out on November 19th via Constellation Records. It features the “Contemplation Suite” requiem on Side One, her most formally modern/post-classical work. Check the first excerpt “Contemplation II“.
