Benny Sings is the project of Dutch singer-songwriter and musician Tim van Berkestijn. Two years after his debut album, he has announced the release of a new full-lenght called Music which will be out on April 9th via Stones Throw Records. It features Mac DeMarco, Emily King, KYLE, Tom Misch and Cautious Clay. We already shared “Nobody’s Fault“; “Here It Comes” is a new excerpt.
The new track is accompanied by an animated lyric video, created by animator Sabrina Nichols. Of the track, Benny says: “The lyrics are about me as a young boy, living on the streets in Dordrecht [a city in the Netherlands] with my skate crew, and feeling life presenting itself, and feeling excited about it. A time full of hope and bravado. My dad used to call us ‘Little Giants’.”
