Alewya is a London based producer and singer-songwriter. Drawing influence from her African roots and UK club culture, we introduced her with the debut track “Sweating“; now she’s back with a new tune called “Jagna” which is out now via Because London Records. The official video is directed by herself and Tom Ringsby.
Alewya explains further on the track “Firstly, Jagna will never be able to be articulated in words. But I’ll try. Jagna is polarity. Jagna is release, Jagna is my soul, Jagna is my rage, Jagna is my lesson, my desperation, frustration, my surrender, my vulnerability, my acceptance and my existence on this planet.”
