One year after Heavy Light, Toronto-based musician, producer and singer Meg Remy aka U.S. Girls is back with a new track called “Good Kinda High” which is billed as a collaboration with the iconic classical musician Glenn Gould. According to the press release, It’s being released as part of a project called Uninvited Guests, from Billy Wild and his collective Division 88, in which they reinterpret Glenn Gould’s recordings in a modern context in collaboration with contemporary artists.
For this one, Meg wrote the song around several Gould melodies, while Wild and the producer Gabriel Pick compiled a beat from Gould samples around her vocal performance.
