The new track “Phantoms” from Manchester based artist Twin Complex is more introspective than the previous works, like his 2020 album The Distance Between Us All. The producer explained the change as a reaction to last year.
“I think writing and producing during the pandemic has shifted my music in a different direction that I perhaps would not have imagined pre-COVID. I found myself wanting nothing more than to dance and DJ again, and I think that comes through in the more dancefloor-friendliness of my new work.”
