Raised with ‘90s hip-hop and rap in the house, Sam Ritchie evolved his personal tastes to music ranging from Notorious BIG, Outkast to artists such as Tyler, The Creator and Toro y Moi. In 2018 he started to compose the first recordings, and worked with the producer Alan Vega, whose result is this catchy and bedroom pop-single “Here we Go Again”.

The artist explains :“I started listening to some music and thinking why can’t a song with a sad meaning go with an upbeat tempo? I started with the mentality of looking at past situations as more of a milestone of what I was able to work past. That’s when I came up with the hook ‘And there you go again / messing with all my friends.”
