Miguel Samuel is a Boston based singer-songwriter and musician. Artists such as Beatles, Beach Boys, Ravel, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Harry Belafonte had an important role for his music. Now he’s back with a new track called “Forevermore“, lifted from his forthcoming 4-track EP due April 2022.
According to the press release, Co-produced by Anthony ‘Saffs’ Saffery of Cornershop fame, Samuel seamlessly merges wry lyricism with guitar led, electronic influenced pop. He explains: “My group was playing a residency last summer at a local dive on Martha’s Vineyard and I wanted a fun love song that was easy for the audience to sing along to. One day I was hanging out at the farm where my girlfriend works and all of a sudden the melody showed up. I hopped on my bike and quickly got home to the piano to work it out. Originally, we did it as an uptempo number — it was Anthony’s idea to slow it down and give it this quirky hip hop groove. Happy to say the song did it’s job at the bar… people who heard it for the first time we’re singing along on the last refrain.”
