Alma Real is a French, Paris-based band which was born 10 years ago. They have shared the stage with acts such as Triptides, Lina Tullgren, Sad Girl and Orville Peck. Their sound went through different styles over the years: from post-punk with a pop attitude to the recent vintage sound with psychedelic shades.

They have announced the release of a new EP called Post-It which will be out on June 18th via XO la factory and Coeur sur Toi. It follows 2020’s La Montagne de l’Oiseau Bleu and tries to describe and narrate the ephemeral, a portrait that wants to outline the fleeting and mysterious nature of things. Just like a post-it. It is a hymn to joy, an album of loves, memories and passions.

This kind of themes and vibes are mirrored in the well-built melodies of the four tracks. A synthy, refined psych-pop which draws from the 80s atmosphere and vibes. There is a sincere lightness, the right amount of nostalgia and a thin (but important) emotional charge which shows the personality and the ability of the French quartet.
