It’s now been five years since Mat Hunsley‘s debut EP To Being Free. Culminating in over a million streams online but followed by an impromptu hiatus. It’s taken until 2021 for Mat to fully rekindle his passion for songwriting.
A new bunch of songs were made remotely before being expertly mixed by Paul Gregory (Lanterns on the Lake). In “Backward Steps” Mat addresses the harsh reality that things cannot always go to plan. Listen below.
