Portland-based composer and guitarist Marisa Anderson has announced the release of a new album called Still, Here which will be out on September 23rd via Thrill Jockey. It follows Anderson’s recent acclaimed collaborations The Quickening with drummer Jim White (The Dirty Three) and Lost Futures with guitarist William Tyler. Check the first excertp “Waking“.
