Northern California singer-songwriter Sasha Papadin aka Loverman is back with a new tune called “Big Star”. The track was produced by Jason Boesel (Jenny Lewis, Conor Oberst, Dawes) and features guest vocals from acclaimed Los Angeles singer Allie Crow Buckley.
Due to the pandemic, the song was worked on remotely between the musicians over the course of a few months, resulting in a song that was worked on in ten different towns in the US and UK.
Sasha said this about the song: “It’s about the moon and the stars and how they influence our desires and decisions. I read Carl Sagan said we are all made of stardust and it got me thinking maybe that’s why we’re so affected by them. Like the stars are calling out to us, trying to pull us home.”
