Flemish composer Illuminine has announced the release of a new EP called Lullaby. According to the press release, it is a beautiful collection of songs he wrote to find peace during numerous sleepless nights in Belgium’s second lockdown. Due to their nocturnal creation and soothing effect Illuminine decided to release them as lullabies in the hope of also helping others to find some peace in such turbulent times.

Due to their intimacy, Illuminine also envisioned his lullabies being released as solo piano compositions. Inspired by the great success of his last rework album ‘Dear, Piano’, Kevin asked some of his favorite artists like genre stars Daigo Hanada and Federico Albanese as well as newcomers like Friederike Bernhardt and Thomas Enger to be part.

Hatsuyume” is a new excerpt which comes with the rework by Daigo Hanada. In Japanese culture, Hatsuyume (初夢) represents the first dream one has in the new year. According to tradition, this dream will then come true during the year.
