Clara Strauch is also a trained actor, her performances are often theatrical by the piano, and she has a role in renowned French director Mia Hansen-Løve’s upcoming film Bergman Island.
“Jupiter” is the last single and also the title track from the upcoming second album — produced, recorded, and mixed by Zubin Hensler at Lethe Lounge (Big Thief), NYC, and mastered by Gustav Lindelöw at INGRID Studios (Lykke Li), Stockholm.
And about the song, she says. “My first role was the planet Jupiter. I was five years old. We had learned about the solar system at daycare, and we put on a play about the universe. I held a big paper model of Jupiter, and marched proudly onstage to Gustav Holst’s “The Planets: Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity.” Since then, Jupiter has symbolized the stage, love, and happiness to me.”
