Buñuel is the project which involves bassist Andrea Lombardini, Franz Valente (One Dimensional Man and Il Teatro Degli Orrori), Eugene S. Robinson (Oxbow) and Xabier Iriondo (Afterhours and Todo Modo). They have announced the release of a new album called Killers Like Us — the third part of a trilogy that started with A Resting Place for Strangers, and then The Easy Way Out – which will be out on February 18th, 2022 via Profound Lore Records and La Tempesta International.

We already shared “When God Used A Rope“; “Crack Shot” is a new excerpt. Eugen S. Robinson says: ” “Crack Shot” gives me what has now become a BUÑUEL staple and is reminiscent of other famous duos — Sonny and Cher, the White Stripes, Steve and Eydie, Mickey and Sylvia — in that I get to sing with my wife, Kasia Robinson from Maneki Nekro. On the first two records, and I think it just happened by accident, we argued about something totally unrelated RIGHT before we recorded…making it a weird sort of compelling relationship journal. Pleased to report that this one was recorded without an argument.”
