Ami Dang is a South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, producer and composer based in Baltimore, also known for her collaboration with Animal Collective. Her music is a mix of ambient lines, trance vibes and electronic textures. She has announced the release of a new album called The Living World’s Demands which is out on November 4th via Phantom Limb & Leaving Records. It unites the disparate worlds of Indian classical music and dreamy synth-infused song composition.
