After several years of silence under the WSR crytonym, Emanuele Porcinai returns with recording material using the same process as for the Chambers album, written between 2014 and 2017. Through social networks, the very discreet artist confides to us that he “likes to think of this as a new chapter linking the previous one with the one yet to come”.

Shortly after the release of his album Chambers on Contort, the Samuel Kerridge‘s label, I was lucky enough to be able to interview this truly exceptional artist.
Today, I continue to see him as a perfect balance, juggling the academic values he received during his studies as a sound engineer, and being quite capable of dropping them to develop techniques that I could classify as being a “first specimen”.
In any case, this is exactly what sets him apart from any other artist.
If you feel like it, I’ll direct you to this 2017 interview with Emanuele Porcinai, here.

The album was written and recorded between 2014 and 2017.
