Yorkshire trio PEAKES, which we introduced with the track “Saint“ and the 2020’s EP Pre Invented World, have released the debut album called Peripheral Figures which is out now via Practise Music. According to the press release, Peakes harness the retrospective, synth-driven energy of the 80s and bring it to the brink of modernity; experimenting with distortion, they have favoured grittiness over the far more polished, studio-level sheen of their previous EPs for their debut album “Peripheral Figures”.
