British composer and multi-instrumentalist Matt Emery is back with a new EP called Harp which is part of Spotlight Series, a new series of recordings focusing on one instrument at a time. It follows 2021’s Cello and is out via Matreya Records. According to the press release, This EP’s sees Emery’s compositions being performed by recent Royal Philharmonic Trailblazer Award Winning Harpist Olivia Jageurs. Olivia’s recently played on records for Voces8, Jess Gillham and Steven Isserlis and has performed for BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and Max Richter as part of the 12 Ensemble.
