Italian-born Berlin-based Luca Mortellaro aka Lucy is back with a new album called Lucy Plays Wanton Witch which is out now via Stroboscopic Artefacts. It is a collaboration with Malaysian Bangkok based emerging artist Wanton Witch who as newcomer to the scene has received great acclaim with her debut LP becoming one of the best albums of 2021.
According to the press release, it culminates in the reimagining of WW album as seen and felt through the lens of Lucy. This is a follow up full-length album by Lucy not approached as a usual remixes record, but instead a fully fleshed out new body of work with the WW material being an integral part of Lucy’s sonic palette.
