Five years after Heyoon, British band Landshapes has released a new album called Contact which is out now via Bella Union. Loneliness, isolation, alienation, the need for connection and community are the salient themes of this new work. According to the press release, it digs deep into the past, looks ahead to the future and burns with vivid life in the present, where its mind-expanding soundscapes, beguiling melodies and resonating emotions exude a tremendous in-the-moment vibrancy.
