Grandbruit is the project of Montreal native musician and sound artist Francis Tremblay. Creating his pieces primarily from field recordings and guitar loops, he utilizes the banalities of everyday life and his city’s landscape as inspiration for his music. He’s back with a new album called La Nuit which is out now via Shimmering Moods Records.

His previous albums were released on the labels Past Inside the Present, Aural Canyon, Giraffes tape, Healing Sound Propagandist and he is the co-founder of the label Florina cassette.
