Forest Robots is the project of American musician and sound artist Fran Dominguez. One year after After Geography , he has released a new album called Amongst A Landscape Of Spiritual Reckoning which is out now via Emmasierra Songs and Wormhole World Records.
According to the press release, This collection explores themes of spirituality, existentialism, and ethics and how each relates to the experience of parenthood amidst great global cultural instability. Throughout the album’s ten compositions, Fran compares different aspects of nature’s cycles to our own spiritual and philosophical cycles, and draws an analogous parallel between our external surroundings and our internal state of being in hopes of bringing to light a more empathic way of understanding our struggles in life.
