Corrado Maria De Santis is an Italian guitarist. Coming from an academic background in contemporary jazz, he has gradually moved towards experimental drone ambient work. We introduced him with the 2021’s album A Year Without Summer. Now he’s back with a new one called Ruins which is out now via Midira Records. He explains about his new work: “Between past and present, humanity and its works, the ephemera of the livingcity and its ruins. As a remnant of and a portal into the past, decay is a concrete reminder of the passage of time.”
