Bolivian Fireships is the project of Swedish sound artist and noisemaker resident James Buchanan. Untitled is the new album which is out via Bristol based imprint Hreám Recordings. According to the press release, began as an attempt to return to the electric guitar as primary source of audio. This is still the case but the resultant sounds have been augmented with treated voice, no input mixers as well as dilapidated magnetic tape machinery and ancient yamaha sampling keyboards. This music, created in an angle-poise lit room with deer roaming outside the window, is best heard in the enclosed space that headphones create.
