Sounds of Solidarity are a collective of sound artists from all around the world reunited to raise money to help Ukraine. They have released two different albums which features 41 different artists: Philip G Anderson, Orange and Mountains, Luca Longobardi, AKABA, ATŌMI and many more. All proceeds goes to Ukrainian Red Cross.
According to the press release, As musicians and artists, there is always the question of what positive impact we can have in the world. Answering the call from italian composer Luca Longobardi, 41 composers and producers from more than 10 countries all around the world gathered around a simple yet common idea: helping those that are in the upmost need.
These are our values: We stand with the Ukrainian civilians that were ripped out of their lives. We want to tell them that they are not alone: we have our eyes on them and are admiring their bravery. We see their tears and sufferings. We stand for peace and we want to help them, in our humble way.
In less than a week, we put together a collection of our music (most of the tracks are unpublished, original works and/or created for the occasion) that we are now offering to you via Bandcamp with one engagement: 100% of the sales revenue from Sounds of Solidarity will go to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
By supporting, sharing and talking about this project, you add your voice to ours to help people in need in Ukraine.Thank you. The release will include 41 tracks in 2 volumes and is scheduled on Friday 4th of March 2022 on Bandcamp only, to ensure a quick action to the current events. There will be no minimal price of purchase, so that everyone will be able to participate at their level.
A special mention and thanks to Marco Caricola that worked on the mastering of the 41 tracks in an extremely tight schedule.
