Riding a wave of momentum from her viral hit “tower of memories,” Florida-born alternative rock disruptor ivri reveals her highly anticipated, ethereal EP evidence of you, out now via Mercury Records. Alongside the EP, ivri releases a celestial official music video for “THE GOLDEN RECORD,” which can be seen below.
Executive produced by frequent collaborator TK The Architect, evidence of you is a cinematic experience that borrows the sounds of shoegaze and neo-psychedelia while maintaining a sound that is uniquely ivri. Her signature world-building is more prominent than ever on this project, as she masterfully blends imagery of space and light to navigate the complexities of her relationships and personal identity.
Reflecting on the creative process, ivri explains, “Coming directly after my album the theory of you, my project evidence of you explores a separation in myself that extends across all of my projects.”
To celebrate the release, ivri is set to make her Lollapalooza debut on the BMI Stage today. Her ascent in the alternative music scene has been rapid; earlier this year, she released “NOISE” and “WHOEVER U WANT ME TO BE (NOTHING MORE),” building on the massive success of “tower of memories,” which has surpassed 9.6 billion TikTok views and 250 million streams across digital platforms.
Following a successful European headline tour this past spring, ivri is preparing for her North American headline tour, “The Evidence of You Tour.” The run kicks off at Louder Than Life in Louisville and includes stops in Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, and Boston, before concluding in New York City.
