Following the success of her 2024 album Big Ideas, Remi Wolf has officially returned with her first new music in two years. The artist debuted her latest single, “Twiggy,” during a surprise appearance at the Newport Folk Festival, where she joined Hayley Williams for a standout performance. The recorded version of the track is now available for fans to stream.

“Twiggy” showcases a shift in sound, pairing a warm, finger-picked guitar arrangement with introspective lyrics. The song explores the complexities of intimate relationships, focusing on specific, evocative details—such as a Lexus driving in reverse or the subtle physical signs of aging. In a press release, Wolf offered insight into the inspiration behind the track, noting, “I wrote Twiggy about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability. And how I like that. Or maybe it’s just about the messiness of addiction? Idk, you decide :)”

The release of “Twiggy” marks a busy period for the artist. Since the launch of Big Ideas, Wolf has maintained a steady momentum, collaborating with notable figures such as Thundercat and Zedd, while continuing to grace festival stages. Earlier this year, she also made a cameo appearance in the season premiere of Off Campus, where she performed tracks including “Soup,” “Alone in Miami,” and “Toro.” For collectors, the physical release of “Twiggy” will feature an exclusive B-side titled “Tiny Little Twigs (Demo).”
