London-based duo Worldpeace DMT have officially returned with a new mixtape titled Flowers Powers. The release serves as a bridge to their highly anticipated upcoming studio album, Stick Around for Tea, which is slated for an October release. The mixtape features the recent single “Lonesome” alongside a distinctive cover of the classic Joni Mitchell track “Big Yellow Taxi.”
The project marks a formal follow-up to their previous work, The Velvet Underground & Rowan. Comprised of Leo Fincham and Rowan Please—the latter known for their work with the Femcels—the duo has also confirmed a series of live dates to support their new material. The upcoming North American mini-tour is scheduled for October, featuring two-night residencies in New York at Baby’s All Right and Los Angeles, where they will perform at Scribble and Oblivion respectively, before concluding the run at Schubas in Chicago.
