Danilo Ligato is an Italian sound artist, musician and composer who we introduced with the tracks “Nube“, “Monte Analogo” and “Dissipatio”. Now he has announced the release of a new album called Fernweh which will be out on January 6th via EEEE. Today we have the pleasure to share the new video for the track “Il Sogno di Tao“.
He explains: “Tao is the name that distinguished my two children as a whole. I dreamt of the Dream of Tao when I was sleeping on the rug in my children room, and it’s happened which they call me through the night and it happens that I fell asleep telling them a story.
The dreams I do when I’m there are much more mysterious and intense, and so I had the idea of the track, from this insight of a shared dream. My children are (Aga)ta and Le(o)ne.
The video includes images from a documentary called “PAPA/VALLE” by Marco Meazzini of which I have created the soundtrack, and bring us between the cupellar boulders and woods from Val Camonica.“
