Penelope Trappes is a London-based singer-songwriter, musician and sound artist better known for his work with electronic duo The Golden Filter. Three years after Penelope Two and 2020’s EP  Eel Drip, she has released a new album called Penelope Three which is out now via Houndstooth.

Now she’s back with Penelope Three – Mother’s Blood Edition – a sparse and magnetic instrumental reworking of the original album, imagining the sounds and moods felt within the womb. It was released digitally and on crystal clear cassette via Houndstooth. The full album also sees each track brought to life on film by Trappes’ and her collaborative partner for visuals, Agnes Haus.
