South African composer and musician Jason van Wyk has announced the release of a new album called Threads which will be out on July 23rd via n5md. According to the press release, After a string of gigs composing for film, van Wyk places focus on writing music for (and of) our current times. There is a much-welcomed beauty to Threads set with a juxtapositional underbelly of anxiety that yields an unwavering intensity throughout its forty-minute run-time.
