John Moods is the new project of the Berlin based artist Jonathan Jarzyna, better known for his work with the project Fenster. Now he has announced the release of a new album called So Sweet So Nice. It will be out as two EPs: So Sweet is out now and So Nice on August 6th via Arbutus Records.
According to the press release, The project’s division into two parts reflects the ideas that preoccupied Jarzyna while crafting these songs: the profusion and intensification of binaries in our world, the necessary interrelation of opposites, the persistence of primordial dualities – light and dark, good and evil, hope and loss, life and death. Comprehending these as dyads, and becoming comfortable in the obscure spaces between them. Each half contrasts the other, accentuating divergent aspects of a single whole.
