Australian band L. Flora are back on our radar with the title track off their shiny new EP “Heavenly”!

Blending warm drums and mellow pads, fluttering guitar phrases, swelling keys, tender saxophone and delightfully sung vocal lines, “Heavenly” delivers the full L. Flora package. Wave after wave of rich color tones and harmonies flow through the arrangement of the track, greatly reminding me of the style of Mamilah’s “Disappear” EP (which is definitely up there on my feature to-do list!). Through amiable neo-soul and r&b vocal melodies, the frontwoman Millie Khalu lets her lyrics guide the song as she expresses the importance of relationships as well as the appreciation of those who are present in one’s life.

L. Flora’s new EP “Heavenly” comes out today and it’s packed full of bright funky and soulful musical flavors, give it a listen!
