Let’s embark on a fairytale journey to the East
Hungarian producers JazzyCal deliver “Ren’ai”, with mellow & mystic melodies on top of chilled beats for an utterly soothing experience – and a very touching story. Part of his Maiko EP, he shares:
In front of a lonely sakura tree, there’s a young Japanese lady, Maiko, who’s standing and looking into the distance. She’s dreaming of her beloved samurai, who was torn from her by the military seven years ago when the kingdom was attacked. Although she doesn’t know if she can still see him alive, she waits under the trees to see him again one day. The melodies are made up of her painful and hopeful tears. Maybe today will be the day.
