Adelaide-based juice-box pop-punk duo, Teenage Joans, kick off a new era of music with the release of the track “Bandits.” This song is a bold step forward, pairing their signature pop-punk urgency with an unexpected, country-tinged edge.

Written during an early 2025 beachside writing trip, “Bandits” captures the rush and recklessness of an all-consuming, Bonnie and Clyde-style romance. One that’s defined by unwavering loyalty, blind devotion, and choosing love at any cost.

As the band explains: “We really wanted to blend a country vibe with our classic pop punk. The song is about feeling an intense connection to someone, so much so that you would do anything for them and rule out the worst because you love them so much.”

Since emerging in 2018, Teenage Joans have been a force in Australian alternative music. Renowned for their fierce live shows and incisive, emotionally charged songwriting, the duo has built a reputation for instantly winning over audiences and leaving rooms full of new lifelong fans. They have toured globally, sharing stages with iconic artists including Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Sleeping with Sirens, and many more.

Teenage Joans continue to sharpen their sound while holding onto the urgency and heart that first drew fans in. Fiercely independent and constantly evolving, the duo is not slowing down, and they’re doing it their way.

You can catch them on tour this May in the UK where they will be visiting cities including Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London, and Brighton. They will also be supporting Hot Mulligan on select dates for their Australian tour in April. You can find a full list of dates below and purchase tickets at www.teenagejoans.com.au/tour.
